Congratulations to the Louisburg College Softball team for being crowned the NJCAA RegionX Champs!

Over the weekend the team hosted the Region X tournament, winning their games 9-1, 14-1, and 5-3. This makes a repeat for the team winning the RegionX title.

"This team has faced adversity all year long. Today was no different," said Coach Lee, "We have a saying around here that Louisburg finds a way [to win]. And today [Saturday] that's what we did." 

Louisburg College Softball also boasts seven All-Region Team 1 & 2 players, including Coach, Player, and Pitcher of the Year. Those awards include:

Kennedy Byrd, Pitcher and Player of the Year
Eric Lee, Coach of the Year

Taylor McQueen, Catcher
Edi Austin, Infielder
Ashton Spiker, Outfielder
Darrah Nickens, Designated Player

Team Two:
Kasey Lee, Outfielder
Jillian Brunton, Utility Player
