The Society of 1787

Louisburg College’s Society of 1787 is its most prestigious giving society. The members of this society have given $50,000 or more in their lifetime and have significantly benefitted the college. These donors’ positive influence will echo through generations of students and is foundational for the college’s success. 

These donors have opportunities to name college facilities and programs. The college always prominently displays these generous givers in our donor roll. 

The Old Main Society

Louisburg College has been the benefactor of many estate gifts that have an enduring impact on the college. It has inherited cash gifts, property, land, and estates of alumni and friends, and we are continuously grateful for their generosity and forethought.

The Louisburg Society

With privilege, Louisburg College honors its most prolific donors by granting them membership in the Louisburg Society.  Donors who give $1,000 or more in a fiscal year make up the Louisburg Society. They are the driving force behind what we do, and we are continually indebted to them for their generosity. 

The information below indicates the different giving levels within the Louisburg Society and the benefits of membership. All the Louisburg Society members receive exclusive invitations to events with the president and administration, recognition in the Honor Roll of Donors, exclusive bi-monthly Louisburg Society newsletters and e-newsletters, exclusive Louisburg Society memorabilia, and a charitable tax deduction.
