At Louisburg College we are here to assist you in the financial process to ensure the understanding of financial responsibility and making decisions that help impact your future. Financial Aid is important because it offers several potential ways to finance your education including scholarships, grants, and loans.

In order for our financial aid department to be able to fully walk you through the financial aid process begins with filling out the FAFSA. The 2026-2027 FAFSA is open now. Apply for aid for the Fall 2026 through Summer 2027 semesters.

Once your 2026-2027 FAFSA is completed and processed, you will receive a financial aid award estimate to include institutional, state, and federal aid. At this time, next steps/options will be presented by student situation to help further alleviate out-of-pocket expense in the form of federal loans. 

At times, it will also take further documentation and requirements to be able to fund your financial aid. Please understand that while we know it may seem stressful and daunting, we are here to help.
