Dear Student and Family,

We would like to welcome you to Louisburg College, and are thankful that you chose us! We recognize that the affordability to attend college is a growing concern for families, so we are here to assist you in your college financial planning. Louisburg College values the investment that you have made in your education to attend our institution.

If you've not already done so, go online and complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to begin the financial aid process. It is important that you and your parent obtain FSA user names and passwords to electronically sign your FAFSA. This is the quickest way to get the financial aid process started. Please make sure to list our school code: 002943. The College will automatically be notified of the results. Please keep your FSA user names and passwords as you will need this to complete the FAFSA in subsequent years.

Once the results are received and the information processed, the Financial Services Office will be able to assist you with any questions you have regarding your financial aid including federal grants, institution and state scholarships, federal work-study and federal and private loan opportunities.

We will send you a financial aid award letter and package in the mail. It is imperative that you review any and all information sent to you by your financial aid counselor and comply with any requests. We understand that this can be a stressful and sometimes frustrating process, but we are committed to helping you every step of the way.

Thank you again for choosing Louisburg College. The Financial Services Office welcomes the opportunity to serve and assist you in obtaining your higher education goals. Please do not hesitate to contact the office with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Tracy Potter
