Christopher Reid - Director of Housing & Residence Life

Christopher Reid is an alumnus ofWest Virginia University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Anthropology. While at WVU, Chris discovered his passion for Higher Education while serving as a Resident Assistant and Orientation Leader during his undergraduate studies.

He later found himself at the University of New Haven in Connecticut, where he earned his Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management while working as a Graduate Residence Director in the Office of Housing & Residence Life.

After graduate school, Chris worked professionally as a Hall Director for three years at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA.

Chris is thankful for the opportunity to lead Housing & Residence Life operations at Louisburg College. He is particularly excited about mentoring professional and paraprofessional staff, as well as watching students develop into young leaders and scholars of tomorrow.

Mack Carr – Assistant Director of Housing & Residence Life for Diversity & Inclusion

Mack Carr is originally from a small town from Pennsylvania named Maytown. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in psychology from Millersville University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in professional counseling with Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.

Before making the move to Louisburg College, Mack was a professional in Child Welfare helping teenage foster youth transition into a life of independence. Mack was also a mentor and life skills coach for foster youth.

What Mack loves most about working at LC is creating strong relationships with the students and watching them develop into successful and responsible students in the pursuit of their life goals and aspirations.
