Joann Couch: is a full-time painter and illustrator who received her formal training in visual art at the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida, followed by study at North Carolina State University and Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. Joann is always looking for an immediacy and fluidity in her compositions which range in subject matter from figurative studies of wildlife and people to landscapes. Bright colors coupled with high contrasts of light and dark bring her images to life.

Bruce Couch: After receiving his BFA in Commercial Art and Design from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1967,  Bruce has worked for a variety of advertising agencies, graphic design studios, and was self-employed in the sign industry for 40 years plus.  Music has always been an instrumental part of his life. He has been influenced by artists/painters such as Fritz Sholder, Wolf Kahn and Rick Bartow and tries to convey the spirit, integrity and vitality of these musicians with color and space in his own work. Bruce’s work has been shown throughout the southeastern US.

Alison Overton: received a BA in Graphic Design from North Carolina State University in 1982. Her photography has been shown internationally; from San Francisco and Los Angeles to Ireland with many sites in between.  Alison lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband. She will be sharing a body of hand painted photographs which document in a dreamlike manner, a trip she took to Paris with her son.
