This summer, Louisburg College had the honor of hosting the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church's annual Breakaway!

This week-long camp allowed for youth in grades 6-12 to come together to worship and grow in faith while participating in fun activities. Students and counselors participated in small group discussions, legislative affairs - where youth voted on changes they'd like to see implemented in the church - and more. 

During the afternoon, campers were offered options to enjoy free time by hanging out on campus, doing karaoke in Norris, or playing D&D with Louisburg College’s own Chaplain, Rev. Laura Wittman! There were nighttime events held on campus, including a talent show and dance party.
