Louisburg College Commencement Weekend Celebrated

Class of 2025Students, family, and friends arrived at the JPAC for the 11:00 exercise that honored and celebrated the Louisburg College Class of 2025.

This year, 87 graduates walked across the stage to receive their Associate degrees in General College, General Science, Business, Agricultural Studies, Environmental Science, Health Science, Medical Science, and Sports Science.

The event featured riveting speeches from Student Speaker Adamaris Anorve-Basoria, a Summa Cum Laude graduate who earned her degree in Sports Science, and Guest Speaker Glynnis Hill-Chandler, an educator and member of the LC Board of Trustees.

Commencement was the height of many graduation weekend events, which started on Friday, May 16.

The graduating class, faculty, and staff kicked off the celebratory weekend on Friday morning at the annual Graduate Breakfast held in LC’s Duke Dining Hall. The breakfast was catered by Chartwells and featured a speech from James Green II, a Cum Laude graduate who earned his degree in Business.

Afterward, the 2025 Baccalaureate ceremony was held at Louisburg United Methodist Church. Students received their honors cords and heard a Homily from campus Chaplain Rev. Laura Wittman.

Congratulations to the Louisburg College Class of 2025! We wish them all much success in their future endeavors!
