The Spring 2024 sesmester officially kicks off, 'Canes! The first day of classes marks the beginning of a new semester of learning, growth, and fun!

The Office of Student Life and Student Engagement have a plethora of events planned for their Week of Welcome that all students can participate in starting today at 8:30 a.m. Here are the week's events:

January 18: First Day of Classes

• FDOC Photos on the Front Lawn starting at 8:30 a.m.
• Good Vibes Only! in The Eye Game Room at 7:30 p.m. - Game and Raffles

January 19: Fun Friday

• First Day of Perks in Robbins Library starting at 8:30 a.m. - Student receive free $50 on their student accounts.
• JC Penney Photo Booth in the Duke Dining Hall MPR from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
• Men's Basketball Home Game versus Lenoir Community College from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
• LIGHT UP THE NIGHT: Basketball After Party in the MPR from 9:30 p.m. until 12:00 a.m.

January 20

• Student Leadership Workshop in Robbins Library at 9:00 a.m. - RSVP REQUIRED (students see lcstudentlife1787 on Instagram from more information).
• Brunchin' With Friends at Duke Dining Hall at 11:00 a.m.
