Louisburg College Celebrates 2026 Baccalaureate

Louisburg College students eat at the 2026 graduate brunch

Louisburg College kicked off its 2026 Commencement weekend with the annual Graduate Brunch and Baccalaureate.

On May 15, 2026, Louisburg College's graduating class, faculty, and staff kicked off the celebratory weekend on Friday morning at the annual Graduate Breakfast held in LC’s Duke Dining Hall.

The breakfast was catered by Chartwells and featured a speech from Kathryn “Katie” Austin, a Magna Cum Laude graduate who earned her degree in Sports Science.

Afterward, the 2026 Baccalaureate ceremony was held at Louisburg United Methodist Church. Students received their honors cords and heard a Homily from campus Chaplain Rev. Laura Wittman based around Matthew 7:21-27.

  • Malachi Jenkins - Business Leadership & Success and Resident Hall Assistant

  • Tae'Kouri Raynor - Ambassador
  • Karma Thorne - Christian Life Council
  • Elijah Walker - Resident Hall Assistant and Christian Life Council
