Katie Bolling earned her Master’s Degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech.
Over the past eight years at Louisburg College, she has taught a variety of biology courses for both science majors and non-majors. She also serves as chapter advisor for the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society and as director of the college’s Honors Program.
Katie met her husband, Erik, in kindergarten in their hometown of Pound, Virginia. They were married in 2013 and currently live in Youngsville with their dogs: a beagle named Lacey and a foxhound named Doug.
