Now That You’ve Been Accepted

Congratulations! You have officially been accepted to attend Louisburg College! This is an exciting time, but it can also be confusing. Do not worry! We are here to help you through every step of the way.

There are a few steps you need to follow in order to secure your spot and prepare yourself for the start of the semester. Just let us know if you need any help with the information below.

Make sure you read over every dropdown below, because each section contains important information including forms you need to fill out and documents that need to be sent in prior to check-in.

>Decision to Enroll Form

Your Decision to Enroll Form states that you have either chosen to attend Louisburg College and are committing to attending in the Fall or Spring semester, or that you no longer wish to enroll in Louisburg College. Every student needs to submit this form prior to check-in.

You must print, sign, and mail the document (along with your deposit) to:

>Fill Out Your FAFSA

FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and is required if you wish to receive any federal and/or state financial aid. You can submit your FAFSA online at fafsa.ed.gov.

The priority deadline for submission is March 1. The earlier you submit your FAFSA, the more money you may receive.

>Immunization Records

All students are required to supply proper documentation showing satisfactory completion of all the following immunizations: Diptheria Tetanus (within the last 10 years) and/or Pertussis, Polio, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Hepatitis B. North Carolina Statute G.S :130A-155.1 states that “No person shall attend a college or university, whether public, private, or religious, unless a Certificate of Immunization...is presented to the college or university.”

You must submit your most up-to-date immunization records via fax or mail to the Department of Student Life prior to arrving on campus for fall/spring check-in. This will help prevent any delays in the check-in process.

Every year, 20% of the current student body (new and returning students) are selected for the verification process. Students are selected at random by the National Student Clearinghouse. They are the nation’s trusted source for education verification and student outcomes research.

If selected for verification, you will receive an email giving you directions of what documents you need to hand in and how to complete the process. You may refer to your Financial Aid Counselor or Admissions Counselor if you have any questions about student verification.
