CAMPUS POLICE SERVICES
The campus police liaison (CPL) program is a new initiative launched in an effort to strengthen the ties between the campus police department and the residential population
that we serve by utilizing positive interactions, networking, and teaching. CPL officers are assigned duties insider their respective halls. The end-result should hopefully
be an improved relationship between campus police and the general student population, as well as establishing networks that should prove helpful in the event that a crime takes
place in a residence hall or anywhere else on campus.

- LC Alerts:
- At Louisburg College, the safety of our community is a top priority. Therefore, Louisburg College has partnered with e2Campus to quickly provide emergency notifications to
members of the Louisburg College community. Louisburg College students, faculty and staff can sign up for e2Campus through their secure college portal. Please note that
you must have SMS text messaging enabled on your mobile account in order to receive LC Alerts on your mobile phone. LC Alerts will
also be sent via the college's e-mail system.
- What are LC Alerts?
This system is designed to quickly provide important information to all members of the Louisburg College community. It utilizes both campus e-mail and personal cell phones to
distribute emergency notifications in a timely manner. Community members may also opt-in to receive up-to-date school information such as news, sports, special event notices,
- Who can sign-up for LC Alerts?
All members of the Louisburg College community may sign up, including students, faculty and staff.
- How can I sign up?
Students, faculty and staff must log into their secure campus portal (My LC or Faculty portal). On the toolbar at the left of the screen is a link to the college's
alert system. To create an account, simply click on the User Sign-up link and follow the instructions. Creating an account generally takes less than five minutes.
Thereafter, you may also log-in to your account by clicking the User Login link located on the portal.
- How do I opt-in (or out) of certain alerts?
All users who have an active account will receive emergency alerts and ONLY emergency alerts. Users wishing to receive other announcements and updates must log-in to
their account and opt-in by checking the updates they desire. To opt-out, simply un-check the updates you no longer
- How can I get additional information if I receive an alert?
Since the message capacity for SMS text messages is limited, Louisburg College will only be able to provide a brief message containing the most critical information.
Additional information will be provided as quickly as possible via campus e-mail, the college's website, and local media
- Will this service cost me anything?
There is no cost to enroll in LC Alerts. However, depending on your wireless carrier provider and the plan you have, you may be charged a nominal fee (like ten cents per
message) to receive SMS text messages. You should check your plan details or contact your provider if you are unsure.
- Will I receive unsolicited messages ("SPAM") on my mobile phone or email account?
NO - e2Campus enforces a zero spam policy which clearly prohibits unsolicited messages, and e2Campus does not sell the contact information of subscribers to third party
