Student Life students waving, students making banner on grass

The Student Life at Louisburg College works to enhance the student's overall college experience by providing opportunities for personal, physical, social, and spiritual enrichment. Student Life serves as an extension of the classroom and supports the overall college mission of offering a supportive community. Student Life encompasses career planning, counseling, intramurals, judicial affairs, religious life, residence life, security, student activities, student government (SGA), and transfer counseling. Through these areas students are afforded the chance to become campus leaders, participate in friendly competitive intramural sports, relax with friends at a dance, help lead chapel services, and a variety of other activities and events.

All students have access to basic cable television service, and rooms are equipped with private telephone lines providing free local service. Residence halls are within easy walking distance of all campus facilities and services.

Students can take advantage of many opportunities outside the classroom. Along with numerous clubs and organizations, students can enjoy the performers who come to the campus, such as rock bands, rap deejays, and comedians. Raleigh, North Carolina's capital, is just 30 minutes away, and Durham, the City of Medicine, is only 45 minutes away, giving students a host of entertainment and cultural options.
