The 2nd seeded 'Canes did a great job creating turnovers and taking care of the ball as they forced the #10 Lady Knights to commit 21 turnovers while LC only had 11. Louisburg scored 15 points off of the CCRI turnovers. Olivia Gaines (Chester, SC, Chester HS) did the most damage, as she led all scorers with 20 points. Justin Taylor (Gastonia, NA/Ashbrook HS) finished just behind Gaines as she scored 16 points on 5-13 shooting, 4-5 from beyond the arc.

Three other Lady 'Canes put in double-digit scoring efforts as Latrice Phelps (Virginia Beach, VA/Tallwood HS) scored 14, Courtney Raiford (Greenwood, SC/Greenwood HS) chipped in with 13 and Jazmine Parker (Burlington, NC/Oak Ridge Military) helped out with ten.

Louisburg will get tomorrow off as they will rest up for their semifinal game at 7:00 pm local time on Friday. The #2 seeded Hurricanes will take on the #3 seed Illinois Central College, with the winner advancing to Saturday's national championship game.
