Welcome to the Louisburg College Auditorium Online Ticket Store! Here you can purchase tickets for the entire Allen de Hart series or purchase tickets for individual shows. The 2007-2008 Allen de Hart Series includes the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra; Cirque Le Masque; The Lettermen Christmas; The Grass Cats; Steve Lippia: Simply Sinatra; St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre: Romeo and Juliet; and Roy Clark. In addition, Louisburg College will offer three special concert events. This year's special events include The Platters, Elsbeary Hobbs' Drifters & Cornell Gunter's Coasters; The Martin Luther King Jr. Community Choir of Lee County and the Heart of Carolina Jazz Orchestra; and Clint Black. Special event shows are separate from the de Hart series and tickets for these events must be purchased separately. Roy Clark - Sold Out!

Friday, April 18, 2008, 8 p.m.

Multi-award winning virtuoso, actor, vocalist and philanthropist Roy Clark has headlined some of the world’s most prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Grand Palace in Brussels and the Rossiya Theatre in Moscow. Roy became a Grand Ole Opry member in 1987. He was a favorite recurring actor on the classic television sitcom The Beverly Hillbillies, which spawned several acting roles on television and in movies. Roy was the first country music artist to guest host Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show. He also hosted the incomparable Hee Haw show for over two decades.

Raleigh Symphony Orchestra

For 27 years, the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra has brought musicians and the community together in the belief that music has the power to affect the lives of all people. Each year, these professionally trained musicians come together to dynamically merge their talent and exuberance in response to the creative leadership of Maestro Alan Neilson. Through its long tradition of reaching out into diverse communities through concerts, community partnerships, in-school and community education programs, and by providing opportunities for musicians, RSO is an integral part of Wake County and the Triangle.

For its budget size, RSO produces more events than any other professional or community orchestra in North Carolina. The orchestra annually receives critical acclaim for its performance quality and innovative programming, and it is frequently mentioned in print media's Ten Best selections of classical concerts in the Triangle. RSO has been awarded the Raleigh Medal of Arts for its inclusive and innovative programming, community outreach, and high artistic standards.

Cirque Le Masque

Cirque Le Masque is a sophisticated European-style circus that incorporates dance and mime with acrobatics, lavish costumes and dazzling special effects. Oblivious to the forces of gravity, Cirque Le Masque artists leap, spin, climb, balance and juggle. Cirque Le Masque has captured audiences worldwide with performances that feature mid-air acts of super-human strength, displays of quick reflexes, impeccable timing and visual art. The Lettermen Christmas

The letter sweaters may only make a brief appearance at each Lettermen performance, but The Lettermen harmony is non-stop. From their first hit The Way You Look Tonight in 1961, through their current hits of today, the sound is undeniably Lettermen. The Grass Cats
Friday, January 25, 2008, 8 p.m.
The Grass Cats continue to entertain audiences with their exciting live performances and critically acclaimed recordings. Their shows feature lively foot-stomping fiddle and banjo music, bluegrass classics, tight vocal harmonies, a cappella gospel quartets and chart-topping original songs. Though careful never to lose their traditional bluegrass footing, The Cats also perform cleverly arranged “covers” of songs from artists such as Eric Clapton, Duke Ellington and Johnny Cash. Their recording career has also been highly acclaimed with two of their five CD’s landing in the Top 10 on Bluegrass Unlimited’s National Bluegrass Survey. The Blues Are Back In Town, received a highlight review in Bluegrass Unlimited magazine and garnered The Grass Cats a #1 single, Bluegrass Man.

St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre: "Romeo and Juliet"
Tuesday, March 18, 2008, 8 p.m.
Formed in 1966 under the original title Theatre of Ballet, this relatively new dance troupe is a creation of the famous artist of the old Kirov Ballet Professor Peter Gusev, under the management of the People’s Artist of Russia program. Since then, the company has become one of Russia’s most internationally toured ballet ensembles, dancing a wide range of classical and modern ballet repertoire. As of 2001, the title of artistic director has been held by Yuri Petukhov who has received first prize for best choreography and three first prizes as a ballet master from international competitions throughout Russia and abroad. Its latest performance, Romeo and Juliet, is a tragedy based on the play by William Shakespeare in which two “star-crossed lovers” meet and secretly marry one another, despite their feuding families. The tragic ending provides a dramatic finish to this ballet.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Community Choir of Lee County
and the Heart of Carolina Jazz Orchestra
Thursday, January 17, 2008, 8 p.m.
Join us for a special evening as Gregg Gelb and his Heart of Carolina Jazz Orchestra perform with the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Choir of Lee County for a night of gospel big band music. Musical selections for the evening’s program will include I’ll Fly Away, Blessed Jesus, When the Saints Go Marching In, Never Forget, Deep River and Down By the Riverside.

Clint Black

In a special concert event, Louisburg College welcomes to the stage Grammy winner Clint Black. The country music sensation scored four straight No. 1 hits in 1989 with his first single, A Better Man. Shortly after, he won Country Music Association’s Horizon (1989) and Male Vocalist of the Year (1990) awards. In 1991, he joined the Grand Ole Opry and scored two more No. 1 hits, Loving Blind and Where Are You Now. He also toured with Wynonna, reaching No. 2 with the duet ballad A Bad Goodbye. Throughout the ‘90s, Black racked up more No. 1 hits including When My Ship Comes In, Summer’s Comin’, Nothin’ but the Taillights, The Shoes You’re Wearing, and a duet with wife and actress Lisa Hartman, When I Said I Do.

Black won CMA awards in 1993 for the George Jones collaboration I Don’t Need Your Rockin’ Chair and in 1994 for the tribute album Common Thread: The Songs of the Eagles. In addition, he won a Grammy for his 1998 participation in the all-star single Same Old Train.

Individual $1 - $99: All members receive their name in each concert program.

Collegiate $100 - $249: All members receive their name in each concert program and one ticket to the opening night dinner.

Patron $250 - $499: All members receive their name in each concert program, two tickets to the opening night dinner, and one ticket to the Christmas concert dinner.

Grand Patron: $500 +: All members receive their name in each concert program, two tickets to the opening night dinner, two tickets to the Christmas concert dinner and a special gift.

Producer’s Circle: $1,000: All members receive their name and special recognition in each concert program, complimentary season tickets to Allen de Hart Concert Series, two complimentary tickets to all concert dinners, reserved seating, and Bravo Society membership. Producer’s Circle members will also receive a pass to meet and greet with Clint Black when they purchase tickets to his special concert event.
