Lady 'Canes Give Back: January 25, 2012
Five members of the Lady Hurricanes Volleyball team volunteered their time and talents at the Franklin County Parks and Recreation youth volleyball try-outs on Saturday. For three hours, the Lady 'Canes worked with over 100 girls on developing their fundamental skills including passing, serving and hitting. Assistant Coach Misty D'Ottavio helped organize the event and oversaw the day's activities.
Coach Mitchell said, "I am so proud of these young ladies and Coach D for taking time out of their Saturday to give back to the community. When you give freely of yourself, great things can happen in your life and in the lives of those you touched."
