2011-2012 Hurricane Women's Coach

Head Coach Andy Stokes, a native of England, joined the Louisburg coaching staff after serving as a staff coach for Triangle Futbol Club in Durham NC . With over 15 years coaching experience Stokes has worked as a staff coach for CASL (Capital Area Soccer League)  Goldstar / Carolina Soccer Club and the FVAA (Fuquay-Varina Athletic Association). Achieving a variety of successes at the youth level, capturing championship titles of almost every major tournament in the region, including winning the NCYSA Presidents State Cup in 1999 and reaching the final again in 2003.

No stranger to college coaching or Louisburg College, having served as an assistant to the men’s soccer program as well as a volunteer assistant at NCAA Division III Meredith College.  Stokes has also shared his knowledge with fellow coaches having helped design the US Virgin Islands Youth Development Program and conducting coaching education courses for Northern Soccer Club in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Stokes playing experience includes having attended the Football School of Southampton FC as a youth. Played youth club, Varsity and College, continuing to play at county / semi pro level for various clubs after college before focusing his attention on coaching.

Stokes holds coaching licenses from both the USSF and the NSCAA.
A graduate of Reading College of Technology, Stokes currently resides in Raleigh, NC.
