2007 Hurricane Men's Soccer Outlook

Following another successful season, with a record of 18-2-1, the coaching staff is already gearing up for the 2008 season. With many high-quality sophomores moving on to four-year institutions to continue their athletic and academic careers, the recruiting process is well under way.

Specifically, Coach Sexton is looking for student-athletes who can come in and start for the Hurricanes to the team get back to the national tournament in the fall of 2008. “We are graduating some excellent players, such as All-American and team captain Gary Crooks, so it is important for us to bring in players who can make an immediate impact. We continually set our standards high on and off the soccer field. Our goal is to improve on our impressive 2007 season and it is important that the players we recruit for the fall share our ambitions.”
