Hurricane Fact
Today, Louisburg College
athletes wear blue and white. However, LC athletes were once known as "The Purple Hurricanes." THE BIG EVENT colors honor these alumni.

Welcome to THE BIG EVENT!
September 28-30, 2007

This fall, LC will host an event unlike any other in the history of the college.
Join Louisburg College family and friends as we celebrate the Hurricanes' storied
athletic programs and honor the dedicated coaches, players and fans that made it all possible.

Attend the Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony as we welcome the inaugural class into the Louisburg College Athletic Hall of Fame. Enjoy the excitement as campus is transformed into Hurricane Village, offering games and activities for the whole family to enjoy. Dance the night away while listening to the sounds of The Platters, Elsbeary Hobbs Drifters & Cornell Gunter's Coasters. Come home to Louisburg this fall. We guarantee this is a weekend you don't want to miss! Check out the complete schedule of events by clicking here.

Meet Miss North Carolina USA 2007 Erin O'Kelley

As part of THE BIG EVENT weekend, Erin O'Kelley will participate in the Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and meet and greet with visitors at Hurricane Village on Saturday.

O'Kelley is a 21-year-old native of Asheville. She is a junior Communications Media major at North Carolina State University in Raleigh. Erin is also perusing a double minor in both World Literature and French and studied at the Universite Catholique in Lille, France this past summer.

In 2004, she switched lives with a Chinese acrobat, who doubled as the troupe's public relations emcee, in the ABC Family reality show, "Switched."

Erin had the privilege to represent the state of North Carolina in 2001 at the Miss Teen USA pageant, and she was recently a semi-finalist at the Miss USA pageant, airing live from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, CA.
