HURRICANE VILLAGE

Plan to spend the day at HURRICANE VILLAGE. Our campus will be transformed into a play land – complete with sports activities, games, music, and plenty to eat. Throughout the day you will be able to meet with our current coaches and student athletes to learn about the athletic programs at the college. Each team will showcase their skills at special scrimmage times.
Admission for Hurricane Village is just $17.87 per adult. Hurricane Village is free for kids 17 and under.
Special $5 Admission Fee for Franklin County Residents
You can purchase your admission wristband in advance on the registration form, or pay at the gate.

10:00 to 5:00 pm
All of the Louisburg College Athletic Teams will be out on the front lawn at various times throughout the day with games, skill clinics, and other fun activities. Take a stroll around the campus and visit with each one. The kids will love the moon-walk, inflatable slide, basketball-shoot arena, and mini-golf.
Visit the Louisburg College Cheerleaders at the “Spirit Tent” on the front lawn. Enjoy “tattoos,” spin art, face painting, and other fun games. Our mascot, “Thunder,” is sure to show up.
The football team will have a team practice on Saturday morning on the practice field behind the Dining Hall. All are invited to watch. Game day is Sunday, September 30 at 2:00 pm. The Hurricanes will take on Methodist College at the Louisburg High School Field.

- Visit with Muddy from the Carolina Mudcats and test your pitching skills with the Mudcats special pitching machine.
10:30 to 11:30 am
- Women’s Volleyball team scrimmage - Holton Gym

- Visit the Women’s Softball team at Cotten Field for a variety of softball skill clinics
10:30 to 1:30 pm
- Visit the Men’s Baseball team at Frazier Field for a variety of baseball skill clinics
11:00 – 5:00 pm
- Visit with the Men’s and Women’s Golf teams on the front lawn for tips on your golf game
11:30 to 12:30 pm
- Basketball - Free-throw Contest for all ages – Holton Gym
- Women’s Soccer team scrimmage - Soccer Field
12 noon
- Cameron Football Field Dedication Ceremony, Cameron Field
12:30 to 1:30 pm
- Basketball - Slam-Dunk Contest for all ages – Holton Gym
- Women’s Softball team 3-inning scrimmage – Cotten Field

- Mini-golf for the whole family on the front lawn

An "All-You-Can-Eat" Roast Beef Dinner will be served from 4:30 until 7:00 pm in Duke Dining Hall. After a delicious meal, get ready to dance the night away to the sounds of the infamous Platters, Elsbeary Hobbs Drifters & Cornell Gunter’s Coasters. Tickets are just $20.
