Louisburg challenges its students to step into the "real world" from
the first day of freshman year. How? We have an innovative approach
called the Crossroads Program, which gets students to explore not
only how they learn, but also how they live their lives. This
is an invaluable asset that most colleges cannot claim.
The Crossroads Program asks first-year students: How do I
live? How do I learn? Caring and dedicated Crossroads
facilitators support our students as they wrestle with these
questions and help them develop individual ownership of their
transition to college life.
Our Crossroads Program creates a unique learning community based on
four cornerstones: talking, reading, writing, and serving. We are
proud of our program. Even more, we are proud of our
students.
