Louisburg College is the only two-year residential college in North Carolina. At Louisburg, students are given an opportunity to excel in the classroom, and within the campus community. Louisburg College is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and  has comprehensive transfer agreements with many public and private colleges and universities, including the sixteen branches of the University of North Carolina system, allowing Louisburg College graduates to make a seamless transition upon entering four-year schools as full-fledged juniors.
