The Robbins Library will receive the most visible updates utilizing funds from the Title III grant.

The US Department of Education has awarded Louisburg College a $2.2 million Title III Strengthening Institutions Program grant.

The College will use the grant to strengthen its academic curriculum, improve student support services, and upgrade its technology and infrastructure.

Follow our progress as we feature the ongoing projects that will enhance the educational services we provide for our students.

December Activities All Activities

  • Presented at SACSCOC Annual conference, sharing information on engaging faculty / aligning teaching and learning
  • Provided “sandbox” D2L learning management system access to committee members
  • Continued work on Title III APR
  • Collaborated with Financial Services to streamline data needed for Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) report
  • Gathered data related to QEP rubrics and general education core competencies from faculty for Fall 2016 semester
  • Provided electronic faculty champion forms to champion faculty leaders allowing for a cleaner, more accessible format to submit semester-by-semester information on students in champion tracks (previously done on hard copy forms)
  • Continued refining Institutional Effectiveness manuals for faculty use (both interdisciplinary version and division-specific versions)
  • Planned January faculty professional development
