The Seby Jones Performing Arts Center (JPAC)
and the Frances Boyette Dickson Auditorium

Louisburg College is proud to present a series of concerts throughout the academic year. Beginning with the 2002-2003 season, the Louisburg College Concert Series became known as the Allen de Hart Concert Series in honor of its founder and long-time manager. Shortly after coming to work at Louisburg College in 1957, Mr. de Hart initiated the concert series and served as its concert manager for 44 years.

All concerts are held in Louisburg College’s 1,200-seat Auditorium/Theatre Complex. Last year, the complex was renamed the Seby B. Jones Performing Arts Center (JPAC), in recognition of the major commitment from the Seby B. Jones Family Foundation and in memory of Mr. Seby B. Jones. In honor of a major gift last year by Trustee Emeritus Mrs. Frances Boyette Dickson, Louisburg College dedicated the auditorium in her name.

The de Hart Concert Series attracts a variety of well-known performers from all parts of the globe. This year’s line up includes illusionists and acrobats, a jazz orchestra, beach music, and Irish dancing, just to name a few. Two holiday events -- The Concert Singers of Cary and The Raleigh Ringers -- will feature traditional and pop selections sure to delight during the holiday season!

This year’s series offers sponsorship opportunities for businesses and organizations at different levels through the Bravo Society, which offers special benefits to sponsors. We also offer a “Flex Pick” option this year which patrons may attend four series events at a special rate.

In addition, join us for a Friends of the Arts benefit concert featuring world-renowned pianist Teresa Walters in the intimate setting of Benson Chapel. This benefit concert and reception will be held on April 29, 2011.

And, starting this year, children 12 and under are admitted free to all performances!
